Bond 23

I should be animating -- so here I am writing about James Bond again.

Been making a list of locations. It's quite hard to find places that Bond hasn't already been, but here are some that appeal to me:

Amsterdam. He did go there in Diamonds Are Forever, but only briefly -- and there wasn't a chase involving jumping from bridges onto passing tourist boats, crashing through the windows of brothels, or push bikes. In fact, I don't think we've ever seen Bond on a bicycle so that's one Completely New Thing I've thought of already.

Pripyatt, the abandoned city near Chernobyl. It looks great in photos, plus there's the danger of a sudden radiation storm or something. (Note to self: research what radiation does in real life. S.T.A.L.K.E.R probably not reliable source of information.)

A corn field somewhere (Africa? Idaho?), with really tall stalks of corn (note to self: research proper name for corn stalks). Or did they do that already? Or am I thinking of North By Northwest? In any case, I have a vague plot in mind to do with poisoned crops and genocide so a cornfield seems like a good thing to have on the list.

A palace in Saudi Arabia. For some weird reason no Bond film has ever had a member of the Saudi royal family as its main villain, and I think that's something that needs to be addressed.

Places you chose have scary atmosphere. Full city were no alive person stayed - but this one seems more thrilling and fun to be there and cornfield place like from nightmare. But those places refer more to some inner fear than down-to-earth pool with sharks or spinnig wheel with blades.

I'd like to see some genuinely tense and scary scenes in a Bond movie. It's difficult because you know he's always going to win, but it would be nice to have a few moments of real suspense.
