looks good, would softer shadows look better or would they not be as stylised? also you could try adding a normal map to the bricks and tiles. Just ideas feel free to ignore
Normal maps are similar to bump maps in that they create extra details in shadowing at render time without creating extra geometry, Bumpmaps use a black and white values representing errm.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bump_mapping I think that explains it better than I could.

I haven't experimented much with the lighting yet, so the shadows are just as they came out. You're right, I should try a softer light.
What do you mean by a "normal map"? I'm a beginner at 3D texturing; never heard that term.

Ooh, I like that. Much better floor texture than mine too.
CG Textures a great resource for textures and inspiration :) I got both the textures I used from there.
Excellent link, thanks for that. I always get textures from Mayang.com, but they don't have as many.
